Do I need a primer on new plaster?
Yes. New plaster and cement are alkaline and can damage paint. Use an alkali-resistant primer first for better adhesion and even colour.
How long should I wait between coats?
Most of our water-based emulsions can be recoated after about 2–4 hours in normal conditions. Always check the product label.
What does “Ready to buy” and “Mix in store” mean?
Ready to buy colours are pre-made and available off the shelf. Mix in store colours are tinted for you at our retail showroom.
Are colours on screen exact?
Screens vary, so on-screen colours are a guide. View a physical colour card in store before buying, especially for large areas.
How do I get a price?
Add products and colours to your quote basket and submit the quote form. We email you a detailed, priced quote — usually within one business day. No payment is needed to request a quote.
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes. Click the account icon and choose “Continue with Google” to create an account or log in instantly. Your account lets you track quote requests and save colours.
Which paint is best for exterior walls in Ghana?
For new plaster, seal with IBC Alkali Resistant Primer, then apply two coats of IBC Premium 100% Acrylic, which offers UV resistance, anti-fungal protection and easy cleaning.
How much paint do I need?
Most emulsions cover about 10–12 m² per litre per coat. Multiply your wall area by the number of coats (usually 2) and divide by coverage. Our paint calculator does this for you.
How do I stop damp and white salt stains on my walls?
Fix the water source, scrape off loose paint and salts, then apply two coats of Rock Shield Damp Proof & Roof Guard. Finish with your chosen emulsion.
What is the difference between satin and semi-gloss?
Satin has a soft, velvety sheen ideal for living spaces. Semi-gloss is shinier and more scrubbable — best for kitchens, bathrooms, doors and trims.
Do you sell recycled or eco-friendly paint?
